£75k Investment Secured from Creative UK
We’re excited to share that we’ve secured £75,000 investment from Creative UK through the North East Culture & Creative Investment Programme run in partnership with the North East Combined Authority!
This support will power the creation of not only a brand-new immersive experience, but development of a next-generation platform for immersive storytelling that can be used for future experiences and training. Combining interactive user engagement, compelling narrative and stunning visual and sound design.
This investment will enable us to:
Build the core technology behind the platform
Collaborate with regional creatives to develop a demo space and prototype content
Expand our team as we enter this new phase and create new regional opportunities
Securing a new office space that will also serve as a practical R&D testing ground
“This investment marks an exciting next step in Tiny Dragon’s four-year journey of bringing incredible stories to life. Creative UK’s support is a powerful endorsement of both our work and immersive experiences as a fast-growing part of the UK’s creative economy. We’re delighted to be deepening our relationship with them and look forward to what we can achieve together.”
Founders Matt Runham (CEO) and Pippa Fox (COO)
“Tiny Dragon Productions is a brilliant example of the creative ambition coming out of the North East. Matt and Pippa have already shown they can deliver ambitious immersive projects and build strong international partnerships. Through the North East Culture and Creative Investment Programme, Creative UK is proud to support the next stage of their growth as they develop a scalable immersive entertainment platform with the potential to create jobs and nurture local creative talent while bringing new intellectual property from the region to wider markets.”

Beyond supporting product development, the investment reinforces the North East’s growing reputation as a centre for creativity and technology innovation. By working with local creatives, growing our team and establishing a dedicated R&D space, we aim to contribute to the region’s creative economy while pushing the boundaries of immersive and interactive storytelling.
We’re incredibly grateful to Creative UK for backing our vision and can’t wait to share more as development progresses!
