Created for family audiences aged 5+, and taking off every 25 minutes, we took over 1,200 audience members through galaxies, made the jump to lightspeed, encountered alien lifeforms, before landing in a new world on planet LX-76.

Space Camp took place inside a bespoke shipping container with utilisation of 2D projection and 3D sound, the experience ran up to up to 13 times a day, 7 days a week – accommodating up to 252 people per day. Packaged as part of a family day out alongside other local attractions (including: city centres, sea fronts, festivals, museums and shopping centres).

Reviews & Reactions

“It was absolutely fab and perfect humour for my little boy who giggled along with the 2 main characters. He especially loved the take-off sequence over Roker and couldn’t believe we were in the air! Thank you and would love to see more of this in Sunderland.” Raring To Go Sunderland

“Thanks to the specialised cinematography & sound the container gives the impression of being in motion & actually moving towards space…” Inspire Box Online Review

“New installation is out of this world” Sunderland Echo
